Abstract. The historical origins of the reward system in Ukrainian lands are analyzed. Their connection with the periods of Ukrainian statehood has been established. Before the declaration of state independence of Ukraine in 1991, three such periods were distinguished: 1) Kyivan Rus’ and the Galicia-Volhynia state; 2) Zaporizhzhia Sich and Cossack Hetmanate; 3) Ukrainian statehood in 1917–1921. In all these periods, the awarding tradition of Ukraine was in close connection with the awarding tradition of European states – from the first awards of Kyivan Rus' – neck hryvnas and crosses, awarding weapons of Cossack period, to the projects of orders of Ukrainian People's Republic and West Ukrainian People's Republic period.

Abstract. In the information reference a comparative analysis of the fees for the provision of administrative services, proposed to be established by the draft Law «On administrative fees» (reg. No. 4380), with the fees for the specified services determined by the current legislation is carried out. It has been established that the draft law is based on the current approach regarding the procedure for establishing fees for the provision of administrative services – both at the legislative level (basic administrative services) and at the level of resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. At the same time, a transition to a fixed amount of administrative fees is foreseen.

Abstract. The procedure and features of the pre-trial dispute settlement in the developed democracies of the European and American continents, in particular in the context of the effectiveness and mandatory nature of mediation as an accessible form of conflict settlement were examined in the analytical note. The issue of possible implementation of mandatory mediation in Ukraine was considered.
