Abstract. The Parliamentary Research analyses a set of issues concerning policymaking and approval in Ukraine, in particular: regulatory acts in this area; subjects of this activity; situational centres in the field of policymaking, approval and implementation; financing of policymaking and implementation. In addition, a list of public policy programme documents that have been implemented in Ukraine in recent years was presented. Some of the presented issues were also discussed through the prism of foreign experience.

Abstract. The Concept reveals the trends and experience of the European Union and European countries in implementing foresight as a tool for strategic planning, formulating public policies and supporting the legislative activity of the Parliament. Foresight is positioned as a methodology that allows expanding the research, information and analytical support of the parliament, taking into account the interests of future generations.
The Concept covers the history of foresight development, its methods, as well as foreign experience in implementing the results of foresight studies in the processes of public policy making. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of prospects and challenges of integrating foresight into the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Abstract. The legal regulation of catering for members of parliament and parliamentary secretariat staff in European countries is studied in this analytical note. In particular, it examines the organizational and legal forms of providing catering services to MPs and parliamentary secretariat staff in European countries, types of catering establishments in the parliaments of European countries, and conditions for providing catering services in the parliaments of European countries.

Abstract. The Scientific Concept presents the results of the analysis of legislative support for the development of electronic communications in Ukraine. The author assesses the state of legislative support and identifies the main directions of reforming legislation in this area. The expected results of the implementation of the Scientific Concept of Legislative Support of Electronic Communications in Ukraine are described.

Abstract. The Informational reference addresses the issues of improving the grounds for liability for the import, manufacture, sale and distribution of pornographic items in the context of the draft law (No. 12191 of 11.11. 2024).
The draft law is analyzed for compliance with the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine, the fundamental principles of law-making activity, the provisions of the current legislation on criminal liability, and the laws of Ukraine that regulate public relations in the field of protecting public order and morality.

Abstract. The Scientific Concept for the Development of Mental Health Legislation in Ukraine sets out the purpose, principles and goals of improving the legislation on mental health protection of the population. The results of the analysis of the legislation of Ukraine and the European Union in this area are presented. The problems to be addressed by the provisions of the Concept and the main tasks of improving legislation in the field of mental health care are outlined. The expected results of the implementation of the proposals set out in the document are highlighted.

Abstract. The Information Reference highlights the procedure for consideration of European integration draft laws in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, including the stages of the legislative process, the role of specialised committees and expert opinions. It contains a list of acts, such as the Association Agreement between Ukraine, on the one hand, and the European Union, the European Atomic Energy Community and their Member States, on the other hand, as well as plans for the legislative work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, government programmes and international agreements, which help to prioritise the consideration of European integration draft laws. The focus is on certain factors that complicate the process of harmonisation of Ukrainian legislation with EU law.

The Information Note presents the results of the analysis of the proposals set out in the draft law ‘On Amendments to Article 86 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Prosecutor's Office” regarding the peculiarities of pension provision for prosecutors under martial law’ (Reg. No. 12149-1 of 12.11.2024), concerning the procedure for granting disability pensions to prosecutors, as well as improvement of the legislative regulation of pension provision for prosecutors under martial law.
