Abstract. This informational reference examines the issue of improving the procedure for the seizure of real estate, in particular property belonging to third parties, as well as the introduction of additional safeguards aimed at strengthening the protection of the rights of owners and possessors of such property within criminal proceedings, in the context of the draft Law of Ukraine No. 14325 dated December 2025. The risks of enforcing some of the proposed provisions are indicated.

Abstract. The informational reference analyzes the proposed changes introduced by the draft law to the procedure for criminal proceedings in the field of international cooperation. These changes concern the application of international treaties, in particular those relating to extradition and transfer of convicted persons, as well as the introduction of the possibility of using electronic communications when submitting requests for international legal assistance and extradition of offenders in cases where this is provided for by an international treaty or by agreements between the authorized (central) bodies of the requesting and requested parties. The reference also identifies certain risks that may hinder the effective implementation of the draft law during law enforcement activities.

Abstract. This informational reference presents the results of a comparative analysis of the Draft Code of Ukraine on the Protection of Statehood, Independence, and the Status of State Defenders (No. 14265 of 28 November 2025) and the alternative Draft Code of Ukraine on the Protection of Statehood, Independence and the Status of State Defenders (No. 14265-1 dated 17 December 2025). The analysis focuses on similarities and differences between their provisions, taking into account structural and conceptual aspects.

Abstract. This parliamentary study analyses the principles and mechanisms of financial monitoring of politically exposed persons in European Union member states. It reveals doctrinal approaches to defining the principles of financial monitoring, examines the provisions of Directive 2015/849, and analyses models of financial monitoring of politically exposed persons using the examples of Italy, Germany, France, Belgium, and the Czech Republic.
