The team of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine met with Sebastian Schaffer, Director of the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (Republic of Austria), during which the parties discussed the areas of inter-institutional relations within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe.
Lesia Vaolevska and Sebastian Schaffer agreed on the exchange of information, analytical and research materials, as well as on the coordination of efforts in the organization of trainings for Ukrainian MPs and employees of the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on issues related to the approximation of Ukraine to the EU Acquis.
The meeting was held with the assistance of Daryna Kozyretska, Deputy Head of the Department for Inter-Parliamentary Relations of the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
