Abstract. The Analytical note is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the functioning of social protection systems in European countries. Special attention is paid to the legislative regulation of the procedure for financing social protection, administration and management of social insurance schemes. The models of social protection systems are generalized and their main differences are noted. The provisions of legislation on the implementation of social insurance in each model of the social protection system are analyzed. Attention is focused on the peculiarities of insurance premiums administration provided for by the legislation of Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Lithuania, Sweden, and Spain. The conclusions on the general trends in the financial support of social security systems of the European Union Member States are summarized.

Abstract. The review dossier examines in a comparative aspect the existing foreign experience of legislative support for the prevention and combating of domestic violence in relation to the following issues: the right to divorce during the wife's pregnancy and/or within one year after the birth of a child and the procedure for divorce (administrative and/or judicial); the practice of divorce in connection with domestic violence (claims, mechanism); the practice of awarding/recovering alimony until the child reaches the age of 1 (3) years. In particular, the legislation of the following countries was analysed: Austria, Germany, France, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Greece.

Abstract. The information note analyzes the provisions of the draft Law of Ukraine «On amendments to Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding the commission of a criminal offense under conditions of martial law or a state of emergency» (Reg. No. 11295, dated 27.05.2024); the compliance of the draft law with the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine, the fundamental principles of law-making activity and the norms of the current legislation of Ukraine is considered. Based on the results of the analysis, risks are identified that may in the future hinder the proper implementation of the draft law during law enforcement activities and the achievement of the goal declared in it.

Abstract. The information note analyzes the provisions of the draft Law of Ukraine «On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine «On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges» and some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding financial support for the activities of judicial governance bodies» (Reg. No. 11254-1, dated May 24, 2024) (hereinafter referred to as the draft law); the compliance of the draft law with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine «On the judiciary and the status of judges», the recommendations of the European Commission regarding Ukraine's acquisition of the status of a candidate for EU membership, as well as the provisions of the Budget Code of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine «On the State Budget of Ukraine» is considered. Based on the results of the analysis, risks are identified that may in the future hinder the proper implementation of the draft law during law enforcement activities and the achievement of the goal declared in it.

No. 11260, dated 16.05.2024) (hereinafter referred to as the draft law); compliance of the draft law with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine «On the judiciary and the status of judges», as well as the provisions of the Budget Code of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine «On the State Budget of Ukraine» is considered. Оverview of the main provisions of Regulation (EU) 2021/1119 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 June 2021 establishing the framework for achieving climate neutrality and amending Regulations (EC) No 401/2009 and (EU) 2018/1999 and other acquis EU in the field of climate policy, as well as a comparative description of the climate policies in Austria, Finland, Italy, France and Germany have been presented in the analytical note.

Abstract. The information note analyzes the provisions of the draft Law of Ukraine «On amending the Criminal and Criminal Procedural Codes of Ukraine to improve the procedure for conducting criminal proceedings under martial law»; the compliance of the draft law with the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine, the fundamental principles of law-making activities and the norms of the current legislation of Ukraine and the practice of the European Court of Human Rights in the field of criminal justice is considered. According to the results of the analysis, risks are established that in the future may impede the proper implementation of the bill during law enforcement activities and the achievement of the goal proclaimed in it.

Analyzing the proposals for the implementation of legal regulation of responsibility for the identification of a lawyer with a client, contributing to a deliberate violation of the guarantees of advocacy, the Information Certificate examines the risks of changes proposed to the Code of Administrative Offenses, related, in particular, to legal uncertainty, non-compliance with the rules of law-making, inconsistency in the amount of penalties, etc.
