Abstract. The war with Russia requires Ukraine's efforts aimed at implementing key reforms in the field of national security, defense and intelligence, and combating corruption, which will allow the state to maintain sovereignty, territorial integrity, increase the security of borders and citizens and accelerate the process of Euro-Atlantic integration of our state.

The information note considers certain issues of legislative support for priority reforms, in particular, on normalizing the common foreign security policy, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the sanctions legislation, reforming law enforcement agencies as part of the security and defense sector of Ukraine, ensuring the security of the exchange of secret information and improving instruments to combat corruption offenses.

The attention is focused on the role of parliament in the implementation of reforms on Ukraine's path to NATO membership.

Abstract. The Information Note contains the results of the study of the legislative proposals of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the new legal regulation of public procurement. The provisions are analysed separately: Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014 on public procurement and repealing Directive 2004/18/EC; OECD Guidelines on public procurement.

Abstract. The research examines the proposals of subjects of legislative initiative on amendments to the current legislation in the field of banking, the provision of financial and payment services, as to their compliance with international legal standards in this area, as well as the provisions of the current legislation of Ukraine in the field of verification of economic activities of persons engaged in it without a license or the right to such activities.

The experience of foreign countries, in particular, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Slovakia, regarding the legal basis and procedure for conducting bank inspections, the powers of officials, the grounds for applying coercive measures and measures to influence violators of the legislation on the provision of financial services is summarized.

Certain risks of the analyzed proposals for amendments to the current legislation are highlighted, the presence of which will prevent the proper implementation of legal norms during law enforcement activities.

Abstract. The Information note presents the results of a study of the principles of activity of the state authorities of Israel, Armenia, India and Pakistan in terms of their interaction with the diaspora. Attention is focused on the principles of the policy of encouraging the voluntary repatriation of migrants and/or members of the diaspora to their countries of origin. The structure of the authorities that ensure the interaction of the state with the diaspora and their powers are indicated. Examples of successful practices of such activities are given.

Abstract. The Analytical note presents the results of a study of the legal provisions regulating the therapeutic use of ketamine for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorders. Attention is focused on the ongoing debate about the risks of ketamine use in psychotherapy. The results of scientific research are presented, in particular, on the bioavailability of ketamine in the treatment of mental illness.
